Is Organifi Green Juice certified organic?
Yes. Green Juice is certified USDA Organic as a finished product through QAI, and so is Daily Greens and Adaptogens — 98.25% organic by weight against a 95% requirement, seal on the jar. The seal says how the plants were grown and handled. It says nothing about how much of any one of them is in the scoop, and that is answered on the panel.
Four amounts, and 6,450 mg without one
Organifi prints four amounts: 600 mg of organic KSM-66 ashwagandha extract, 1,000 mg of organic wheat grass juice powder, 1,000 mg of organic coconut water powder, and 250 mg of organic moringa leaf powder. Add them up and you get 2,850 mg of a 9,300 mg serving. Thirty-one percent of what you swallow carries a number.
The other 69% is mostly one thing: a 4.2 g Alkalizing Greens Blend holding wheat grass powder, spirulina, chlorella, lemon, beet root, matcha and turmeric. It is the biggest single item in the scoop — bigger than all four printed amounts put together — and not one ingredient inside it has a weight. The remainder is a prebiotic powder, two flavors and monk fruit, also without amounts.
Our panel prints ten amounts and they cover the serving: 1,620 mg each of organic barley grass juice, wheat grass juice, alfalfa juice and spirulina, 680 mg of cracked-cell chlorella, 300 mg of organic KSM-66, 200 mg each of astragalus and rhodiola, 120 mg of bromelain at 2400 GDU per gram, and 20 mg of B. coagulans MTCC 5856 at 2 billion CFU. 7,980 mg named plus the probiotic. Nothing is left over for a blend, because there is no blend.
Ashwagandha, and the rest of the scoop
Organifi’s 600 mg of organic KSM-66 ashwagandha extract sits on a panel where two thirds of the scoop carries no amount at all — that number, beside 6,450 mg you cannot read. Our 300 mg of the same branded extract stands beside nine other printed amounts and nothing you cannot read. A greens powder is not one number; the question is how much of the scoop you can account for, and that is 31% against 100%.
What a day costs, per milligram you can verify
