Six labels. One of them you can check all the way down

Comparison done September 12, 2026, from each maker’s published label and site

Daily Greens and Adaptogens prints an amount beside every one of its ten ingredients — $53.96 for 30 days of 8,000 printed milligrams, certified organic as a finished product, nothing added. On the five best-known powders beside it, part of every scoop is a number the label never prints: a proprietary blend on four of them, an unweighted flavor system on the fifth. That sum cannot be finished. Every panel below is reproduced from the maker’s own label, so you can check each one yourself.

How much of each serving you can see

A proprietary blend prints one total weight for a group of ingredients and keeps the split private.

A 13 g scoop. At most 375 mg of wheatgrass.

AG1’s 13 g serving holds a 7.5 g blend of 21 ingredients, and the first two by weight are organic apple powder and pea protein isolate. Its grasses — wheatgrass, alfalfa and barley leaf — sit 4th, 5th and 6th inside a separate 1.5 g blend of 21. A blend lists its ingredients in descending order, so that wheatgrass can be no more than 375 mg, the alfalfa no more than 300 mg, the barley leaf no more than 250 mg. Ours carries 1,620 mg of each, every day, as juice powder rather than dried leaf.

Four things to check on any greens label

Is every amount printed?

If you can’t see the milligrams, you can’t compare, and you can’t price what you’re buying. Legion prints four of its ingredients and stops. We print an amount beside all ten, with no blend and no flavor system left over.

Is it certified organic — the seal, not the word?

“Made with organic ingredients” and “almost organic” are not certification. Ours carries the seal, and prints an amount beside all ten ingredients under it. Of the other five here only Organifi carries the seal, over a panel that prints four amounts out of nine.

Juice powder or leaf powder?

Grass juice powder is the pressed juice, dried — the concentrated form, and the expensive one. Leaf powder is the dried whole leaf, fiber and all. Our barley, wheat and alfalfa are all juice powders at 1,620 mg each a day.

What else is in the scoop?

Sweeteners, flavors, fibers, fillers and flow agents all take up weight. Ours has ten ingredients and nothing else — no sweetener, no flavor system, no filler.

$1.33

A price per day prices the scoop, not the contents. The cheapest day on this list, Live it Up at $1.33, buys sixteen greens inside a 7.3 g blend and not one printed amount. 1st Phorm is $2.00 a day subscribed for five blend totals and no individual amount anywhere. Ours is $1.80 a day for ten amounts you can check.

Cost per milligram you can verify

Daily Greens and Adaptogens is $53.96 a month subscribed for 30 days of 8,000 printed milligrams — 7,980 mg named across nine ingredients, plus 20 mg of B. coagulans MTCC 5856 at 2 billion CFU as the tenth. Both terms of that sum are on the label, so you can finish the arithmetic without asking us for anything.

On the other five labels the sum stops partway. Legion prints its four actives, 13.5 g of a 17 g serving, and nothing for the rest. Organifi prints four amounts, 2,850 mg of a 9.3 g serving. AG1 doses 25 vitamins and minerals and five named actives, then puts 42 ingredients inside 9 g of blends. 1st Phorm prints five blend totals and no ingredient amount anywhere. Live it Up prints nutrient totals, not ingredient doses. You cannot divide a price by a number that isn’t printed.

Reading our panel

Ten ingredients. 8,000 milligrams. Every amount printed. Five whole plants — barley grass, wheat grass and alfalfa as juice powders, plus spirulina and cracked-cell chlorella — make up 7,160 mg a day. Three adaptogens: KSM-66 ashwagandha at 300 mg, the extract with placebo-controlled trials behind it, plus rhodiola and astragalus as whole organic roots. Bromelain, a plant enzyme. And Bacillus coagulans MTCC 5856 at 2 billion CFU a day, the amount used in its own clinical studies, guaranteed to the expiration date.

Why there are no added vitamins. One product in this set adds a 25-item multivitamin to the scoop. Ours doesn’t: it is a whole-food greens powder, and the vitamins and minerals in it come from the plants.

Check us the same way. Every amount on our label can be held against the research at the dose we use. The ingredient guide does that, ingredient by ingredient, with the references.

About these panels

Sources. AG1’s blend structure and ingredient order are from its own Next Gen ingredients page. Organifi’s, Legion’s and Live it Up’s panels are from the brands’ sites and matching retailer listings. 1st Phorm publishes its panel as an image; its blend weights come from a label transcription and are approximate.

Prices were checked September 12, 2026 and move with promotions. Formulas change too — Organifi and Legion both reformulated recently, and Live it Up relaunched in July 2026 with what it calls a “refined formula” — so the label on the jar in front of you is always the final word.

On five of these labels part of the serving is a number you take on trust. Ours is $53.96 for 30 days of 8,000 printed milligrams, every term of it checkable.
