Legion prints an amount for each of its four actives: 6 g of organic spirulina powder, 3 g of astragalus 10:1 root extract, 3 g of organic matcha leaf powder, 1.5 g of maca root extract 4:1 — 13,500 mg of a 17 g serving. Ours is ten ingredients with ten printed amounts, certified organic as a finished product, covering 100% of the serving with nothing left over for a flavor system.
Is Legion Genesis certified organic?
No. Several ingredients are organic — the spirulina, the matcha, the cane sugar — but the finished product carries no USDA Organic certification. Daily Greens and Adaptogens is certified as a finished product, seal on the jar.
Those are different claims. “Organic ingredients” describes an input. Finished-product certification means an accredited certifier audits the whole formula, the blending facility and the paperwork, every year. Ours is certified at 98.25% organic by weight against a 95% requirement.
