The product
What’s in it?+
Ten ingredients, every dose printed: organic barley grass, wheat grass and alfalfa juice powders (810 mg each per serving), spirulina (810 mg), cracked-cell chlorella (340 mg), KSM-66 ashwagandha extract (150 mg), astragalus and rhodiola root (100 mg each), bromelain (60 mg), and Bacillus coagulans MTCC 5856 (1 billion CFU). Two servings a day: 7,980 mg of plant material plus 20 mg of probiotic culture. Every ingredient, and why it’s there →
Is it certified organic?+
Certified USDA Organic as a finished product, audited every year. Eight of the ten ingredients are certified organic; the plant enzyme and the probiotic can’t be. Why those two can’t be →
Does it have caffeine?+
No — nothing in the jar contains caffeine. Take it any time of day.
Is there a probiotic in it?+
Yes — Bacillus coagulans MTCC 5856 (LactoSpore®), a spore-forming strain that survives a dry jar and stomach acid. 2 billion CFU a day, the amount used in its clinical studies, and the count holds to the expiration date rather than the factory door.
What does it taste like?+
Green. No flavor system, no sweetener. If you want it sweeter, blend it into a smoothie or juice.
Is it gluten-free?+
Not certified gluten-free. The barley and wheat grass are cut before the plant forms grain, but the label carries a Contains: Wheat allergen statement, and we won’t print the words without a per-batch test behind them. If you have celiac disease, ask your doctor first.
Who should check with a doctor first?+
Anyone pregnant or nursing (ashwagandha and rhodiola aren’t established as safe in pregnancy); anyone on blood thinners (vitamin K in the grasses and alfalfa; bromelain has mild blood-thinning activity in lab studies); anyone with a liver or thyroid condition (ashwagandha); anyone with an autoimmune condition (spirulina, chlorella and astragalus can stimulate immune activity); anyone with PKU (spirulina contains phenylalanine); anyone allergic to pineapple (bromelain). Formulated for adults.
How much do I take?+
Two 4 g scoops a day, morning and afternoon or both at once — whichever you’ll keep doing. A jar holds 60 scoops: 30 days, and every price we quote is per day.
What can I mix it into, and can kids take it?+
Anything cold — water, juice, the smoothie you already make. Heat isn’t good for the probiotic or the enzyme, so keep it out of coffee and tea. Formulated for adults, not children.
How do I store it?+
Lid tight, cool and dry, desiccant packet left in. Best-by date is on the jar. Clumping in a humid kitchen is normal.
Price and subscription
What does it cost?+
$59.95 a jar, a 30-day supply. Subscribe and every jar is $53.96 — $1.80 a day.
How does the subscription work?+
1 jar every 30 days or 4 jars every 120 (4 jars ship free). Every shipment is 10% off, and a friend’s code takes another 15% off. Skip, pause, change the frequency, or cancel from your account page — no calls, no fees, no minimum term.
I’m switching from another greens. Anything I should know?+
Finish what you have. The compare pages hold the side-by-sides, label to label, and your first jar is covered by the 30-day return either way.
Shipping and returns
What’s the shipping policy?+
Free over $70, after discounts — a 4-jar subscription qualifies, a single jar doesn’t. Under $70 it is $8 standard or $15 express. You get tracking by email when it ships. The full shipping policy.
What if I don’t like it?+
Return the jar within 30 days of delivery, opened or not, for a refund. We send a prepaid label; its cost comes out of the refund unless the jar arrived damaged or wrong. The full returns policy.
Who makes it?+
Salt & Field owns the formula and answers for the label. The grasses are grown and juiced in Utah’s west desert; the company is registered in Wyoming. The story.
Every amount above is printed on the jar.
